The divisible tunnel detector DLS is used to analyze unit goods and bulk materials on a conveyor belt or material chutes. It is primarily used for tall material. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminants (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) – including metal embedded in the product.

Upon metal detection, a signaling device and a separation system can be activated, or a signal can be sent to the process control.
